Event Details

Join us for night of learning with Sister Simone Campbell, 2022 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, author, attorney, and religious leader- on a stop of her inspiring "Hope in Turbulent Times Tour." Join us for an evening filled with hope and community spirit as Sister Simone shares her insights and sparks a vital conversation about our collective future.

Sister Simone's latest book, Hunger for Hope: Prophetic Communities, Contemplation, and the Common Good, is a heartfelt narrative that combines her advocacy for those in need with her profound practice of contemplation and community-building. She delves into the ideals and challenges of nurturing supportive communities amidst the pervasive individualism of today's America.

Following an introduction, Sister Simone will present the key themes from Hunger for Hope, and then open the floor for a dynamic discussion. We'll explore questions like: What fuels your hope? How can we foster unity and healing in Muskegon? It's an opportunity to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful conversations that can transform our communities.

Sister Simone's books will be for sale at the presentation, and she will sign books after the presentation.
