What do your genes tell about you, and what do they leave out?  Come to listen and ask questions with two experts:  Dr. Constance Hilliard,  best known for her pioneering research in the field of African Evolutionary History, and  also the author of ANCESTRAL GENOMICS: African American Health in the Era of Precision Medicine (Harvard University Press); and Esther Dyson, founder of Wellville and former board member of 23andMe - whose entire genome you can find at https://my.pgp-hms.org/profile_public?hex=huBEDA0B (Does that tell you enough?  We thought not!).

They will discuss the use of genetics to reveal a person’s likely ancestry and their health risks - and the limitations of what we can learn.  Also: What are the risks of knowing those things - both for the individuals involved and for their families and others?  Please join us for an engaging conversation and share your own experiences if you’d like to.
